Rachel and Matt got the perfect spring evening for their nuptials in Middletown, CT. The rainy morning gave way to glistening afternoon sun, and everything was lush, green and in full bloom. Rachel is my childhood friend, and though a previously booked morning wedding prevented me from attending her preparation, I made it to the church with minutes to spare before the limo pulled up for the ceremony. Fortunately, I have an incredibly talented pair of friends, Linda and Jurek of Pug Photography who agreed to join me at the wedding and make it possible to provide full day coverage. It was awsome having both of their unique perspectives; together, we took so many photos!
Rachel's mother thought of everything; as a tribute to Rachel's grandfather and father, she had their wedding rings bound into the bouquet. (Photo by Linda Pugliese)
Rachel's mother's talents were apparent in so many details throughout the day. Besides making Rachel and Matt a beautiful quilt made of squares decorated by the guests, she actually designed and made the wedding rings! As you can see, they are so unique, and so elegant.
The Wadsworth Mansion was lovely in the evening light, and Rachel and Matt had their first dance on the patio encircled by friends and family.
Rachel and Matt, it was such a pleasure being beside you on your wedding day. You mean so much to me, Rachey, and I am so happy for you and Matt!
