In February, I had the honor of doing a cover shoot for the very first issue of my friend Yvonne's digital magazine, New England Finery. We spent a day of delicious girliness at one of my favorite wedding venues, The Stevens Estate in North Andover. Playing dress up in a mansion on a winter afternoon--what could be more fun? We had the run of the estate, and with the luxurious interiors of the mansion, buried in feet of freshly fallen snow, we had grandeur and history and romance all wrapped up in the most perfect New England setting. Our breathtaking model Taryn dazzled the camera, and even braved the blustery elements outside at sunset for some of my favorite shots of the day. Now that issue two of the magazine is days away (we just did another shoot last week), I am finally posting some of my favorite images from our first snowy adventure! Taryn's custom fashions and accessories are all courtesy of Harper Della-Piana from Seams Couture in Wenham (brides take note!). I want to congratulate Yvonne and her partner Linda Smith on their exciting venture, and thank her for featuring my work--ahhh, the fortune of discovering that in the lovely white antique house across the street lives another creative soul who has become a fast friend, and a creative confidant. Yvonne, you are the best, and I can't wait to see your magic in the next issue.
Taryn is wearing a dress from the Wrapture collection found at Seams.
Harper fashioned an antique ribbon into a truly unique custom accessory.
Behind the scenes: I made Yvonne pose for this just moments before we ran out of light.

This was by far one of my favorite days "at work!" You have a special way of making your subjects look and feel model-beautiful. Can't wait to show off your talent in issue 2!
