Lance and Leah: Engagement

Lance and Leah are both in the Coast Guard and are currently stationed in Florida, so they are planning their Cape Cod wedding from afar. After being in touch over email and the phone, it was my first chance to meet them in person--but I saved no time in sweeping them outside for a quick engagement session! Though their tolerance for cold has waned since they've been in the south (and poor Leah was quite ill), they were such troopers during our cold winter evening shoot. Evidence of the last snowstorm was still on the ground, creating a picturesque New England setting in Lexington, Lance's hometown. Lance and Leah are the most fun, spunky couple, and their affection for eachother is so uplifting to witness (I love that they are comfortable being all mushy in front of the camera--they made it so easy for me!). I had so much fun that I even created a little slideshow of images from our session (click arrow below to view!). I just adore this couple and can't wait to accompany them on their wedding day.
